You fear may be too calorie foods during the holidays? You want to sulk sugar and fat? Yet some festive meals are less caloric than one might think …
Here is a short description of the traditional food festivals year-end, for those watching their weight can be let go without complex …
- Champagne: There are as many calories in a glass of red wine in a glass of champagne. Both are more or less than ten grams of alcohol and give the same number of calories (seven calories per gram). However, semi-dry champagne or roses have a little more sugar than the champagne brut.
- The White pudding: Contrary to what one might expect, it contains little fat. Its nutritional value varies according to production. As most often made with lean meat, milk and bread, he will always be far less fat than all other traditional meats, such as jellied terrine and others.
- The Log: Whether traditional or ice, it is always better to consume it in moderation if you do not gain weight. You probably just need a thin slice to enjoy the flavor. Obviously, fruit salads (eg alien) will always serves more balanced.

- Chocolate: As you can imagine, they are all rich in energy: more or less five hundred grams Kcal per cent. Milk chocolate is made from cocoa, cocoa butter, milk and sugar. White chocolate contains cocoa butter, milk and sugar but no cocoa. The dark chocolate for its part, is composed only of cocoa butter, cocoa and sugar. Question of taste … and enjoy! - Oysters: There, you can let go! Less than two grams of fat grams per cent (plus or minus 100 kcal per dozen oysters), they are not calorie or fat. In addition, they provide you with iron, iodine, selenium and protein quality. Eat them raw preferably, together with a little vinegar or lemon and enjoy all their nutritional benefits.
- The turkey: The turkey on the other hand, contains only three grams of fat grams per cent (while the goose example contains seventeen!). If you watch your line, prefer it to any other poultry. In support, fruits (pears, apples …) are much poorer than the chestnuts for example.
- Foie gras: Of course, it is very heat (more than four hundred kcal per hundred grams) and very high fat (nearly fifty percent), but it nevertheless contains so-called monounsaturated fatty acids (as in oil d olive), known to be good for heart problems. It is also very rich in vitamin A. As a result, moderate drinking is not bad for our health.
You’ll understand that you should deprive yourself totally of no food ‘pleasure’ typical at festivals, but their components disclosed here, there must simply be consumed with caution and moderation.
